My husband and I were physically exhausted and dreaded bedtime. We started the Remote Program with Jen and saw results within the first day. The sleep schedule has helped us create a better bedtime routine and I feel confident that our baby is sufficiently fed and tired before she sleeps. Our 13mo had previously been sleep trained after her 4m sleep regression, but over the last 5 months, she struggled to fall asleep independently and would often be up for up to 4 hours in the middle of the night fully awake and upset - we were exhausted! We had tried re-training her using the previous technique, changing her nap schedule and wake windows, but to no success! After having a second baby, I genuinely thought that we could apply the same technique as we did with our first (self taught technique), however this wasn't the case. There is a reason sleep deprivation is used as a torture tool! The DIY program worked so well for us, we’re amazed with the results. We had downloaded many online programs and none helped us. Jen’s DIY was so very different from anything we had read before and this was the main reason it worked. Our 9month baby never fit into the recommended wake windows. It was a constant battle trying to get her to sleep. After listening to Jen’s ‘golden rules” and understanding how to better read my baby as an individual, it literally changed her sleep overnight. We no longer battle naps or bedtime. The program was clear, short - so good for my sleep deprived brain - and worked quickly. The tips Jen taught us will work for many years to come.
